Come and meet the startups that could shape Sweden’s future

Venture Cup’s Regional Final for Region East – an afternoon filled with entrepreneurship, innovation, and new connections, as we bring together some of Region East’s most promising startups and announce this year’s regional winners.

Earlier in the day, 10 selected startups will pitch to a regional expert jury. Then, we open the doors to you.

What to expect at the final

-An inspiring talk from a former Venture Cup participant

-Q&A with the event speaker – with a prize for the best question

-Audience Choice, where you get to vote for your favorite

-Award ceremony and celebration of the Region East winners

-Networking and mingling

Four awards. Four winners. Four spots in the Sweden Final.

During the event, winners will be announced in the Impact Maker Award, Academic Innovation Award, Best Traction Award, and Game Changer Award.

All four winners will advance to the Sweden Final 2027, where they will meet the winners from Venture Cup’s other regions – and where Startup of the Year will be crowned.

If the Audience Choice winner is a different startup from the award winners, it advances to Second Chance – Venture Cup’s wild card round – giving it one more opportunity to secure a place in the Sweden Final. Which wild cards go through to the final is decided in a selection round in December. So your vote matters: if the audience believes a startup from Region East deserves a place in the final, it has a real chance to earn one.

But the final is about more than awards

You’ll have the opportunity to meet the finalists both before and after the stage program, learn more about their companies, and make new connections. You might meet your next business partner, customer, mentor, or investor – or perhaps you’ll be the person who makes the connection that helps one of these startups take their next big step.
